I'm really very honored.
To have you read my blog.
You decided to stay home instead
Of going on that afternoon jog.

So I'll give you an introduction.
But first let me clear my throat.
I've been brave enough to start this humble blog.
Called, 'Just Some Stuff I Wrote.'

It's really exactly what the title says.
It's almost nothing more.
One drastic measure to make use of my time.
When life becomes a terrible bore.

So I've been writing a lot these days.
And even my friends took note.
They read my diary, which was bursting full.
Of Just Some Stuff I Wrote.

They asked me to start a blog.
Apparently it'll help in my career.
"It's really easy," they said.
"Just give it a try, have no fear!"

And now this blog is all I have.
On the sea of life, it's my lifeboat.
It's special to me, although it's nothing but
Just some stuff I wrote.

So guys, just give it a look.
It won't take you much time.
It's the one place you can disappear into.
With no reason or rhyme.

It's an escape from reality,
A reality that's bloody and cutthroat.
